A bit above its station

Changchun station is absolutely enormous. It has only been open about 6 months and is not finished really. It has a waiting hall with about 3.500 seats in it and enough space to fit at least as many again standing. It is some way out of the city and was built for the high speed trains and must have cost millions of pounds.
Southampton airport which has some design similarities would fir into it twice I think.
We saw many different uniforms for the staff. Grey ones for the shouty people, then black, navy, purple, pink and another shade of blue
Today we were ready for the pushy people too. After yesterday we managed to get onto the train relatively unscathed and the train was amazing. over 300kmph and only one stop in the 400 or so mile of the trip
Brilliant and probably the best train we will go on as we are back to a sleeper tomorrow night.
