Footsteps but not Grandpa's

In Dalian there is what is called the Century Footsteps.
 

It is a huge bronze strip with footprints from every year from 1889 till 1989

The pic shows the first lot and they were mainly locals.

Yu can see the tine footprint of a lady who had her feet bound as they did in those days Grandpa mentioned seeing this.

Having seen some of the vertiginous shoes some girls wear here I wonder if misshapen feet is really a thing of the past.

And I am not being a fuddy duddy
