Are we that odd?

Well if you are two Westerners in this place you are certainly a subject of great curiosity.

All day people have been staring at us quite openly and it was quite disconcerting at first but we have got used to it. Without exception when we smiled we were greeted with beaming smiles in return. It is just that there are not many of us here. In fact we were the only Western people we saw all day.

Grandpa wrote of Changchun, I believe, that a porter on the platform realising he had a camera kept following him and got in all the pics.

Chinese people here are still not used to us but are so friendly.
